🎯 Key Responsibilities

⚖️ Betting Operations & Risk Management

🧠 Manage all pre-match and in-play betting activity across multiple sports and markets.

🔒 Mitigate risk by adjusting lines, monitoring exposures, and flagging suspicious patterns.

✅ Ensure full compliance with trading and regulatory frameworks.

🤝 Work with data providers and trading platforms to ensure real-time accuracy.

🏅 Oversee liability and risk exposure, especially around VIP and high-stakes play.

📈 ROI Optimization & Margin Management

📊 Track sportsbook KPIs like hold %, margin, and customer profitability.

💡 Design and implement dynamic pricing and margin strategies to improve ROI.

🎯 Collaborate with marketing and product to align pricing with promotions and acquisition.

👥 Customer Intelligence & Retention

🔍 Use behavioral data to segment players and tailor promotions and bet limits.

🎁 Work with CRM to drive personalized retention campaigns.

🚨 Detect and manage sharp bettors or bonus abuse, while prioritizing user experience for recreational players.

🧑‍💼 Team Leadership & Operational Excellence

🌟 Lead, mentor, and grow a team of traders and risk analysts.

📘 Create and enforce SOPs, workflows, and risk policies.

💬 Provide actionable insights to product and tech teams for continuous improvement.

✅ What We’re Looking For

🎓 3–5 years’ experience in sportsbook trading or risk management in a licensed environment.

🧮 Deep understanding of odds compilation, market behavior, and betting mechanics.

💻 Proficiency in sportsbook tools, risk platforms, and trading systems.

📍 Strong analytical and critical decision-making skills — especially under pressure.

📜 Knowledge of licensed betting regulations.

💬 Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
