Digital Rights, DMCA & Content Protection Specialist
Become our digital superhero! Fight takedowns, block bad actors, protect our brand, and keep our affiliate world safe. If you love solving chaos fast, this is your mission.
Digital Rights, DMCA & Content Protection Specialist
About the Role
We’re on the hunt for a sharp, fast-thinking protector of all things digital — our very own company superhero.
You’ll battle sketchy DMCA notices, track down impersonators, block cyber villains, and keep our online world safe.
If you come from an affiliate background or powerhouse platforms like Google/YouTube, and you thrive in fast-paced chaos with a startup mindset, this role is your arena.
We need someone who takes ownership, thinks in solutions (not problems), and isn’t afraid to jump into the fire when the bad guys show up.
Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Rights Management & DMCA Compliance
Respond to incoming DMCA notices, ensuring accuracy and legal compliance
Prepare and file DMCA counter-notices where appropriate
Monitor for fraudulent, abusive, or duplicate claims affecting our business or partners
Maintain rigorous documentation for audit and legal protection
Serve as the primary liaison with hosting providers, Google, YouTube, ad networks, and other digital platforms
2. Online Reputation & Content Protection
Track, identify, and remove false, misleading, or impersonation content online
Monitor the company’s search engine reputation and take swift action to mitigate risks
Coordinate with internal or external legal teams when escalations are required
Build internal processes for ongoing protection of brand identity and messaging
3. Cyber Abuse & Threat Response
Investigate and escalate abusive behavior, harassment, or coordinated attacks across platforms
Report abuse to relevant services (Google, YouTube, social platforms, hosting providers, etc.)
Identify and document fraudulent takedown attempts and other hostile actions
Gather and preserve evidence for potential legal or escalation processes
Required Experience
Affiliate industry experience or experience working at/with Google, YouTube, or similar digital ecosystems
Proven experience in DMCA, copyright enforcement, content moderation, or brand protection
Strong understanding of search engines, ranking signals, and reputation protection
Experience handling abuse reports, fraudulent claims, or security-adjacent workflows
Skills & Mindset
Startup mentality: scrappy, resourceful, fast-moving, comfortable with ambiguity
High ownership: takes initiative, drives processes independently, and delivers outcomes
Strong analytical and investigative mindset
Excellent written communication for legal-adjacent documentation and platform escalations
Highly organized and detail-driven
Ability to stay calm, objective, and solutions-focused in hostile or high-pressure situations
Why This Role Matters
You’re the shield that keeps the company safe.
You’ll be the reason malicious actors fail, fraudulent takedowns get overturned, and our affiliate world continues to run smoothly.
You’re not just an employee — you’re our digital guardian.
